It would be nice to have it, as a simplified version of the Jami icon in SVG format (such as the one that appears in Android's top-of-screen notifications, for example) could have many uses in visual design. If for some reason this is not in the developers' plans, a simplified SVG icon could be made available somewhere by Savoir Faire Linux for web designers to have an "official" version of this icon. When I receive a message, Jami blinks orange in the taskbar for a couple seconds then completely stops. If I went to the bathroom or something when the message arrived, I will come back to the computer without any idea that I got a message. This problem is unacceptable, so my colleagues and I will not be able to use Jami for our work-related communication.https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues/295Notification visibility on Windows <102021-07-16T19:57:05Zxxx xxxNotification visibility on Windows <10Apparently in Windows 10 there is an area that permanently keeps your notifications. The additional behavior I would expect is that the main window is being opened minimized to the task bar and flashing, but at the very least having a little red notification dot on the tray icon.https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues/357Jami current calls set incorrectly2021-07-16T19:57:32ZMing Rui ZhangJami current calls set incorrectlyWhen having a jami call, then switch to another account and then initial another call,

Ideally I would get 1 popup / ding when a new unread message is sent and only if the app is running in the background or at least the chat window with the person sending me the message is not open, and then no more until I actually read that message.
Also, an indicator of unread messages in the tray icon would be extremely helpful.https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues/335code smell: remove currentConvUid_ from MessageAdapter2021-07-16T19:58:21ZSébastien Blincode smell: remove currentConvUid_ from MessageAdapteras we have LRCInstance::getCurrentConvUid()as we have LRCInstance::getCurrentConvUid()https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues/304Gnome: resize offset2021-07-16T19:58:29ZSébastien BlinGnome: resize offsetSelecting the right corner at the bottom to be able to resize the window is harder than other gtk applications (less offset). What i dont understand how come Ring a decentralized app and they are able to block it? i used Tox chat before and it make sense that no one did block it because the firewall cant catch every single user IP and block it so it will work no matter what, but for Ring things are not clear.. so i wonder does ring has any identifiable sign or collecting server ...etc so that this type of blockage could affect it ?https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-android/-/issues/925Can't start conversation by pasting ID number2021-07-16T21:53:38ZRing ThingCan't start conversation by pasting ID numberCurrent f-droid version (202104...)

(Context here, receiving a Jami-ID in a email/message that the sender created with the Jami feature to share one's Jami-ID contact through another app.)
After pasting the Jami-ID number into the text field that appears after pressing the new conversation/contact button: Nothing happens when pressing the bottom right "->" (Enter?/Call??) button.
So, it does not seem possible at all to call a Jami-ID. For example, that one got and copied eg. out of a received email.
