The client application opens fine and I can see the account of the person I am trying to connect with. There is a green dot present, showing they are online. However, when I try to send them a text message, it doesn't seem to send and they are not receiving anything. The connection issue seems to be present both ways and calls are not connecting either.
Any suggestions about what I can try?https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-packaging/-/issues/71Wish: Jami for Tumbleweed2020-11-23T19:53:19ZSimon HerrmannWish: Jami for TumbleweedHello, I would appreciate, if there would be jami not only for Leap 15.1, but also for Tumbleweed. Today I tried for the first time and I will keep using it. I also tried for testing for online meetings that nowadays are so necessary. In one association, we have meetings each two weeks around 20 people and I tested with a couple of them. Since the Coronavirus we have been using Jitsi meet and they decided not to use your tool because 2 things. I report here one and I will make another issue for the other.
The one here is that for each conference you have to add each of the 20 people. They are used to Telegram and Signal where you can use rooms/groups.
So as a feature request, we ask for it to be able to use it.
Of course, thanks a lot. It is only a suggestion :)https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-libclient/-/issues/427Wrong call status (hold/setCurrentCall)2020-12-17T16:21:21ZSébastien BlinWrong call status (hold/setCurrentCall)~~There is two issues:~~

it works until i dial another contact.

I've also tried the official package from testing and compiled jami myself, all had the same issue.
This did not happen with the flatpak package.

SIP-Server: Asterisk 17, Connection via LAN or WiFi, all systems register on Asterisk without errors
From Android <> Android OR Android <> Ubuntu OR Ubuntu <> Ubuntu NO issues, call is stable, audio and video working.
Scenario 1: Arch Linux calls Ubuntu > NO audio and NO video at all on Arch, NO audio and only the own video on Ubuntu
The call crashes after approx. 20 sec, the Ubuntu indicates finished call, Arch says the conversation still going on and dosen't stop even klicking on red button. Only killing dring stops that. Even with closed GUI I have to kill dring twice (same pid) to really stop it.
Scenario 2: Ubuntu calls Arch Linux > NO audio and only own video on Arch, NO audio but both video streams visible on Ubuntu.
The call remains stable and closes in both systems after klicking on either red button.
Same issue between Arch and Android as well as between Raspbian and Ubuntu / Android
I also tried to recompile Jami for Arch from the sources but without effort due to errors (still working on it).
Thanks for any help and stay healthy,

Jami 1.59 (issues were happening also before the last two updates - not that before they weren't happening, I installed the app only recently)
## ISSUES EXPERIENCED
- **Can't connect video**: I can't see the other person's video and he can't see mine.
- **continuous loading**: even if I start a call with just voice, we connect and hear each other but Jami shows a loading circle as when you're ringing someone, nothing changes
- **unable to respond to call**: to answer a call, I click on the green button, connection starts but nothing changes on the display
- **can't quit the app**: when I attempt to perform any of the actions listed above, the loading rainbow circle appears as a pointer and Activity manager appears as `not responding`
What should I do?
Please help me, I love Jami's philosophy and features but I can't make it work... I enable all encoding options in the settings and changed something, but I see no improvement.
Thanks a lot. Have a nice day.

In the FAQ, **[Can I delete my account?](https://jami.net/help/#answer8)** say to be able to delete the account, you need only uninstall the application, which is not correct if you are using a public username, which was my case.
Few months before I tried the app but didn't have any person to tryout. Now I have, I lost forever the same username which I use in every other application. At least you could create a self-destruct for inactive public accounts, Telegram have a similar feature.
