**Possible solution:**
maybe there is a slash missing and the script should be searching for subfolders like this `/usr/local/Cellar/qt/*` ?
There is a versioned subfolder there.
**Additional notes:**
the script tries some weird stuff later on which generates warnings like:
```
Warning: Already linked: /usr/local/Cellar/gettext/0.21
To relink:
brew unlink gettext && brew link gettext
```
this seems unnescessary.https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-project/-/issues/1107./make-ring.py --dependencies cannot find qt install on osx2020-11-16T14:28:46Zdrone33./make-ring.py --dependencies cannot find qt install on osxOn master (e98a5a2)

Myself am on MacOS Mojave 10.4.1.
My buddy just downloaded Jami so he’s on latest version and I just upgraded to Version 1.85 (20201109).
With default settings worked fine.
Then we tried again having all audio and video options checked (to make sure that we will always be able to chat whatever bandwidth available) and then every time we tried a video call, Jami crashed, no matter if it was him or me who started it …
So we reverted to default settings, but to no avail, Jami keeps crashing…
Why all of a sudden this happens ? Jami is unusable this way.

3. It is not received on Android, it is only received when I start the desktop client
...
- Actual result: It is received in only one of my two clients
- Expected result: It is received in both clients
## Additional information
I have promoted Jami to many people as I love the idea of a P2P messenger, but not managed to have one solid call or longer conversation with anyone yet. With bug after bug, crash after crash, it is getting difficult. I still have faith in Jami but I don't think anyone I have convinced to download it is going to use it again, sadly. Maybe wait with release until it is a bit more stable?https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-project/-/issues/1103Contact not detected + Reset chat2021-08-17T20:18:16ZMichel V.Contact not detected + Reset chatHello team,

First of all, here is the log file: [Bye Bye Recent Chat!](https://pastebin.com/ps6md7M5)
This log did not end with a crash, at least not from a technical standpoint. However it did have a couple of highlights such as Jami not being able to detect my contact's device (I could perfectly talk to them via Viber) or Jami suddenly deciding to literally erase the content of the Jami Linux chat up until some date, the 3rd of November 2020 in my case. I still don't know why. By the way, the Android version of Jami did not erase the messages.
Thanks to the GDB log, I also noticed that Jami seems to ‘recreate’ a new thread (or rather 3 in my case) every time I open a chat window.
It's very hard to spot in the Pastebin but a couple of lines were actually red-colored in the log:
> [1605119083.780|25876|system_codec_container.cpp:197 ] Can't find a usable accelerated H265/HEVC codec, disabling.

> [1605127697.402|30070|connectionmanager.cpp:743 ] ICE negotiation failed
I'm not fully certain that everything is working as intended but the "surprise-you-ve-got-no-chat-now" isn't exactly reassuring. I kinda hope the log can help.
