This is unfortunate as it makes the dependency closure of the flagship Jami client (jami-qt) very large, partially defeating its advantage over other non-native, browser-based clients such as Element for Matrix. It also takes a heavy toll on our build infrastructure (building our own Qt with qtwebengine is a 1 h + endeavor), and causes the client to be heavier/slower than it could be.
Using guix, we can see that the single largest input is qtwebengine, which adds 177.3 MiB to the closure of jami-qt, or 8.3% of the total closure size of 2127.7 MiB for jami-qt.

When a phone number is entered in the search field, Jami interprets blanks correctly. Not so for other non-digit characters. If I search for 123-456-789, then
- if 123456789 is among my contacts, Jami will not recognize it as being the same as 123-456-789
- if 123456789 is not among my contacts, Jami takes the new contact from the search field. A subsequent call fails, apparently because it tried to go to 123-456-789.
Quite often one needs to copy and paste phone numbers from web pages or emails. Depending on the country, digits may be separated by blanks, dots, hyphens, slashes, parentheses.
It may be desirable to keep the separating characters in the contact name (although what most users expect is the [capability of editing the contact info](https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/ring-project/-/issues/757#note_18109)). The non-digits should, however, be removed from the phone number so that calls go through.https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-client-qt/-/issues/459Should toolTipText be `Hide advanced features` when the `Advanced features` i...2021-08-14T05:43:31ZovariShould toolTipText be `Hide advanced features` when the `Advanced features` is shownWhen the `Advanced Features` is hidden, the popup reads `Show advanced features`.

Please see image - sorry for the poor resolution shot- I couldn't find out the screenshot option in the Samsung One UI 3.1 hence shot with another camera.
As you can notice from the image - the username is not appearing and only the ringid is appearing for the contact.
This issue occurs only on the Samsung One UI 3.1 - on all other devices the username appears correctly.
The username doesn't appear for any of the contacts on this Samsung device.
When an audio call is being made - again only the display name and ringid gets on the center of the screen.
