This string is a system string NOT a string of Jami.
But every other messaging apps don't show this issue if I make video calls.
(And I think previous versions of Jami (like all from 2022) didn't show this error message)
And only Mate 20 Pro shows this error - Galaxy A53 5G for example never showed this error message.
This doesn't change the fact that it's a system settings or network settings. The video is probably correctly detected on Jami and not on your other apps
I have no clue. Every single similar issues I see is related to device cache or device network. Never from the app. Tbh I don't think we can do anything on our side for this.
Just tried again - Same issue using Huawei Mate 20 Pro (EMUI 12.0.0.142 which is Android 11) - I get this error message but video calls work.
Other Huawei phone - Huawei Y9 (2019) with EMUI 9.1.0 (Android 9) - has the same issue - but video calls also work - so it's just a wrong error message of the OS ?
But no other messenger app has ever showed this issue - just Jami
Thanks for your answer. What happens if you disable the Android Telecom Framework integration? Is it related to Android Connection Service API ? Should voip call recording be still possible https://nllapps.com/apps/cb/voip-call-recording.htm ?
