[Android/F-Droid] Version numbers are available, but no description of changes between versions

How to report a bug

One bug = one bug report

If you have multiple issues, please file separate bug reports. It will be much easier to track bugs that way.

Avoid duplicates

Search for similar problem - update existing issue instead of creating new one.

Bug report form

Describe your environment

Please specify the following:

  • Jami version:20250925-01
  • Device model:Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro
  • Android version:11
  • What build you are using: F-droid

Steps to reproduce

  • Can you reproduce the bug: at will
  • Steps:
  • 1. Find a list of Jami versions (e.g., on the official website or F-Droid).
  • 2. Try to find a description of what has changed in version 20250925-01 compared to the previous one.
  • Actual result:Version numbers are publicly available, but there is no description of changes, bug fixes, or new features for these versions. It is impossible to understand what is new or fixed in a specific release.
  • Expected result:Each version of the application (e.g., 20250925-01) should have a detailed changelog that describes the differences from previous versions: fixed bugs, new features, improvements.

Additional information

The absence of a changelog makes the update process meaningless for users, as they cannot evaluate the importance of the changes.
