MacOs High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C88) iMac
Every time I launch application manually or when it launches at startup, the windows appears: "Do you want the application "Ring.app" to accept incoming network connections?" Allow/Deny.
The firewall settings contain "Ring" - Allow incoming connections. Tried both on Administrator/ Normal user accounts.

Issue generated from Tuleap's migration script.
**Originally submitted by: Jean-François Labonté (grimsleepless)**
When you do a clean install of ring on Mac OSX, the python script that is suppose to install easily dependencies is actually causing complications instead of simplifying the first compilation
\* Environment:
Mac OS X High Sierra (10.13.2) on January 7th 2018 latest build on master branch
\* Reproduce steps:
Clearly mention the steps to reproduce the bug.
\* Expected result:
Dependencies installed and ready to compile project
\* Actual result:
Error caused by "\*" in dependencies unlink array in installation python script.
By the way, if you remove the star in the array, it causes another problem. The script will unlink libs and tools that you might need during compilation which will cause crashes in the compilation process.

<p> I tried Ring with a lot of contacts in my system (500+). When Ring starts it freezes for some time. I investigated memory and time consumption with XCode profiling tools.</p>

<p>Since the switch to Jenkins for packaging the OSX app, the ringtones are not packaged anymore.</p>
<p>Reason is simple, we use ring-project in the jenkins job to build everything. Problem is, each component (daemon/lrc/client) is installed in its own custom prefix.</p>
<p>Ringtones are contained in the daemon repo and are installed in:</p>
<p><daemon\_install\_path>/share/ring/ringtones/</p>
<p>When building the client Cmake can't find this folder since the client prefix is different.</p>
<p>Easiest solution would be to duplicate ringtones in the OSX client, to prevent having to link the daemon and the client.</p>

<p>Seen in log:</p>
<p><strong>App Transport Security has blocked a cleartext HTTP (http://) resource load since it is insecure. Temporary exceptions can be configured via your app's Info.plist file.</strong></p>
<p>We use this URL to check for client updates: http://gpl.savoirfairelinux.net/ring-download/mac\_osx/sparkle-ring.xml</p>
<p>It should be https.</p>
<p>It is not always reproductible, I've been capable to update a client with this URL. It may be enforced recently by newer versions of OSX. We should better fix it now.</p>
