No option to delete file

You should have two options:

• Delete file from device
• Delete message

And I think you can also not cancle a file transfer (incoming file)? jami-project#1590 (moved)

Why not ? If it's stored on the jami application data we should be able to delete :)

But I think I saw no option using Jami to delete this file?

If I well remember, it's planned to add it ASAP (delete file from device; and delete message).

I would be happy if, in addition to deleting individual files, there is an option to mark multiple files for deletion and an option to delete all files from a conversation at once.

What about Multi-Device? If you delete the file on Android and after that open the desktop and/ or android client will you get a "deleted file" message once the messages are synced?

Or if you delete a file on one device and other devices are still online - will the file only be deleted from the same account on one device? (And the option to send files from sameuseraccount 1 (device 1) <-> sameuseraccount 1 (device 2) also won't have any isssues?)

I'm not at the origin of the modification, but Delete file from device feature purpose is to help the user to free some disk space. It is not synced between devices. The only thing it does it that it deletes the file from the Jami internal directory where it got saved.
