duplicate conversations for a single contact across devices

After linking a macOS device to an account already in use on iPhone and iPad, multiple conversations for the same contact were created, and messages are missing

Steps to Reproduce (uncertain):

1. Set up Jami on iPhone and iPad using the same account.
2. Later, add the same account on a macOS device.
3. After some time, observe the conversation list:

• 3–4 identical contact entries appear.
• Most show no message history; one shows only 2 old messages.

4. Send a message — it may not appear.
