Same problem on devices running jami on ChromeBook, on Iphone and also on Linux Zorin 17 running on a VirtualBox. CONTEXT: Trying to use jami on a university network, relevant ports seems to be blocked, so it is impossible to use jami (on wired and also on WiFi networks). I have no problem using these devices with jami on my home network.

The community of researchers and professors working in their university are a big number of potential users, especially to connect with colleagues in countries where research is under strain. A lot of research themes are actually -for ideological reasons- under the scrutiny of governmental actors and jami could be a useful platform to exchange on these subjects (compared to applications with centralized servers). Providing a way to use jami on these professional networks is therefore useful for developing the number of jami users worldwide. Installing jami is not in itself a problem.
