There could also be a reactions menu on the Raise hand/Lower hand. To enable quick voting, 👎 could be added to complement the 👍. For example, you could say "Do you understand?" and 👍 means yes and 👎 means no. In a tiled view you could see each participants tile with their response very quickly without filling up the chat.

Should a participant whose microphone becomes enabled, i.e. un-muted, automatically also lower their Raise hand icon (remove the handsup flag)? Thank you

It would be great if there was a button for participants to "report a problem". - Maybe also an option to select if I click on the "raise hand button".

For example if one participant can't hear the moderator or if the audio volume is too low. Or for example if you have to leave the conference quickly.

Is it planned to have the Hand button always shown in audio and video calls (i.e. non-conference calls)?

This may reduce the code complexity as the button is always shown.

It could also help with the UX experience as the button is always available (like in Jitsi Meet) so people need more understanding why the Hand button is sometimes there and sometimes not as the Hand button is shown for all audio and video calls.

Before we invite someone to a conference on Jitsi Meet for the first time, we call them on Jitsi Meet to explain how to use the program by using the program. This saves other peoples time in the conference as we are not explaining to new people how to use the program.

In some situations, it can is also easier to use the Hand button than writing in the chat. If a keyboard shortcut is added for the Hand feature there are other benefits of having the Hand button always shown. If the device is a touch screen having the Hand button always available provides other conveniences.

We do not plan to add the Hand button for 1:1 calls, as there is no conferences options in this case (no moderators, no multi layout, etc). (we plan to add it in audio conferences) and it's for a different use case.

They can join the rendezvous before the others or be added to a conference before too.

Could there be multi layout in 1:1 calls when video split has been implemented? For example, 1:1 tutoring where someone could share multiple windows or their camera and a screenshare?

Having a camera and a screenshare at the same time is wanted for all calls.

Please add handsup for 1:1 audio-only calls and video calls that are non-rendezvous as it is wanted for all calls. Thank you

For swarm, we are reworking for the call APIs, And all call will be video-conferences (even with 1:1), before this work we will not change this point.
