video quality sent from Android device is low

The quality of the video stream sent by an Android device is pixelized when received from the gnome-client.
* Environment:
Device1: Ring version 20171215 (f-droid) on Android 6 (HTC U-Play with 16MP front camera)
Device2: Ring gnome-client installed and updated through our Debian 9 repository.
* Reproduce steps:
Place call from Device1 to Device2 or vice-versa and observe the video quality received in gnome-client.
* Expected result:
The quality should be crisp and well detailed given that the Android devices has a 16MP camera.
* Actual result:
The video quality is not impressive and appear pixelized when viewed on a 1080p display.
