Importing profile refuses to work ("An error has occured")

Issue generated from Tuleap's migration script. Originally submitted by: James (beautifulbash)

Tried to import my Ring profile from my laptop onto my Android phone, typed my correct password in and it just said "An error has occured" with nothing else thereafter.

Im running on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (N71000) on Temasek's Marshmallow Cyanogen 13 port.

Ring.cx was downloaded from F-Droid.
