Show Jami connection status in Panel (aka Task Bar in Windows)
-
Jami icon in the operating system Panel (aka Task Bar in Windows) should show:
a) Agreen dot
if all Jami and SIP accounts are online
b) Ared dot
if all Jami and SIP accounts are office
c) Aorange dot
if a combination of Jami and SIP accounts are offline and online -
This would help knowing Jami's connection status when Jami automatically opens on computer login and is minimized. https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/ring-client-gnome/issues/1020#note_13092

For accessibility (eg color blind, poor eyesight), the dot could also be replaced by different and larger symbols, similar to how the Linux Mint Update Manager has different icons depending on its state, as shown in the images below:
a) Thegreen dot
could be replaced by agreen tick
b) Thered dot
could be replaced by ared X
c) Theorange dot
could be replaced by anorange semicircle
(sorry no orange semicircle shown below)
What do you think?
Thank you
