Ubuntu 16.04 audio calls not working
Sorry if I am not technically familiar with the Jami/Ring project. Just looked for a skype alternative, and we used the versions downloaded from the jami download page.
We tried Jami on three machines. Calls between Ubuntu 16.04.x <--> Ubuntu 16.04.5, and Ubuntu <--> Mac OS are not working; no audio from the calls can be heard on any side. Ringing sounds incoming calls etc do work in all systems.
On all systems audio is working with skype, discord and in virtually all other applications.
In syslog there are messages like:
Jan 21 15:51:36 nehalem cx.ring.Ring[1741]: [libopus @ 0x7f686807ee40] Could not update timestamps for skipped samples.

Changing between pulseaudio and alsa made no difference.
This seems to be a Ubuntu version problem. Did anybody even test audio only calls on Ubuntu?? As it seems Jami on a standard Ubuntu 16.04 is quite useless.
