Windows client - notifications don't always appear, when a message is received
Notifications don't always appear, when a message is received. It is caused by system restriction on how many notifications can an application show, so If Jami spams notifications, Windows blocks them. In my opinion Jami shouldn't use system notifications, but use it's own notification system - play a sound, and show a widget, informing about received message. Also please consider adding an option for regulating notification sound volume, as I described in https://git.ring.cx/savoirfairelinux/ring-project/issues/569 My friends using Jami, often complain about notifications being annoying, because they're too loud, without a way to change it or because they aren't showing up properly.
Additional question: When an issue wasn't tagged as "feature request" without any comment , does it mean, it wasn't yet read or that it won't be implemented? Is there any roadmap? I think you should explain these things on the "Bugs and suggestions" page, because new contributors could be discouraged by not seeing any response. You should write something like "We have limited time, so even if we doesn't respond, your feedback helps us a lot." etc.
Have a nice day!
