Contact not detected + Reset chat
Hello team, First of all, here is the log file: Bye Bye Recent Chat!
This log did not end with a crash, at least not from a technical standpoint. However it did have a couple of highlights such as Jami not being able to detect my contact's device (I could perfectly talk to them via Viber) or Jami suddenly deciding to literally erase the content of the Jami Linux chat up until some date, the 3rd of November 2020 in my case. I still don't know why. By the way, the Android version of Jami did not erase the messages.
Thanks to the GDB log, I also noticed that Jami seems to ‘recreate’ a new thread (or rather 3 in my case) every time I open a chat window.
It's very hard to spot in the Pastebin but a couple of lines were actually red-colored in the log:
[1605119083.780|25876|system_codec_container.cpp:197 ] Can't find a usable accelerated H265/HEVC codec, disabling. [1605119339.390|25878|nat_pmp.cpp :413 ] NAT-PMP: Can't remove all port mappings: NOGATEWAYSUPPORT [1605119467.141|25878|nat_pmp.cpp :413 ] NAT-PMP: Can't remove all port mappings: NOGATEWAYSUPPORT [1605127645.027|27576|multiplexed_socket.cpp:639 ] Error when writing on channel: Broken pipe [1605127669.217|30068|multiplexed_socket.cpp:639 ] Error when writing on channel: Broken pipe [1605127697.402|30070|ice_transport.cpp :570 ] [ice:0x7fff9046dad0] TCP negotiation failed: All ICE checklists failed (PJNATH_EICEFAILED) [1605127697.402|30070|connectionmanager.cpp:743 ] ICE negotiation failed
I'm not fully certain that everything is working as intended but the "surprise-you-ve-got-no-chat-now" isn't exactly reassuring. I kinda hope the log can help.
