Indicate connection problems (e.g. firewall)

Issue generated from Tuleap's migration script. Originally submitted by: Sharon (need4openid)

Ring on Android failed to connect to peer (ringing indefinitely). It might be firewall problems or something else. It would be nice to detect network problems and show user an error message for example.
