The version format Jami uses is strange, users don't know that version are they using
Hi. I think the version system Jami uses is hostile to users - on the website you can't find any information about what the current version is. Daemon uses number.number.number style, GNOME client shows the compilation date, Android (F-droid compilation) shows "Live Free or Die - 20190103", whereas commits on gerrit use 163, etc. Sorry for saying that, but it's a total mess, is there any rational reason it looks like that? Also even a small change log on the website would be helpful. I'm saying that, because my overall experience with the current release system is like with Russian roulette - one version works great, the next has critical issues and feels like it was an alpha release. Minor releases only for bugfix, without adding new features would probably fix the problem. Could you please use this https://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/html_node/Releases.html#Releases ?
