[Own?] Profile picture in contact list is missing

Jami Android (beta, Version 20211202-01)

Mate 20 Pro (EMUI 11)

Your own (Jami-) account name is normally shown in contacts (so you can send yourself messages Windows -> Android etc.) after you have added yourself. However now the account name is gone.

AND the profile picture of yourself ("contacts) is not shown anymore.

You don't have any display name in fact, but the URI should be showing

I oft see a black profile picture - I think it only changes if I start a (new) conversation. (And it disappears (again) if I restart Jami and/or Bluestacks 5)

Thanks for the fix! It's been existed over a year and is also important for other issues - especially if you want to reproduce connectivity issues.

Now I'll be able to test for example if #999 (comment 36663) still exists.

I would just like to ask:

Once the patch is merged these two ways should work:

1. Jami on Windows 10 (same user account) hasn't got a profile picture but once you write a message and/or make a call it will be updated and used from Jami on Android that has already a user profile
2. Jami on Android (same user account) hasn't got a profile picture but once you write a message and/or make a call it will be updated and used from Jami on Windows 10 that has already a user profile

BTW: Which profile picture will be used if Jami on Windows 10 and Android use different profile pictures on different devices?

I checked jami-client-qt#1006 (closed) and I agree it looks like a QT client bug (I don't work on QT client).
