Issue if you add a participant to a video call

Steps to reproduce:

Android: You have only one own account ("myusername1") with contacts like "myusername2" and "myusername3"
Windows 10: You have multiple own accounts ("myusername2") but always the same contact ("myusername3")

1. Make a video call Android ("myusername1") -> Windows 10 ("myusername2")
2. Android: You can view the video of the Windows 10 user
3. Android: Add participant (Windows 10 contact: "myusername3")
4. Android: All videos are gone; you just view your own video preview
5. Windows 10: You can actually see three videos but all are black

Windows 10: If you want to view most of the videos (again) you have to select another own (second) account and return to your other (first) account to view the video again.

Sometimes you will be able to view the video on Android again.

Hey @El4, thanks for reporting issues, it helps a lot. Just a word on this ticket we had a little trouble understanding the scenario and then reproducing it. To enhance communication, it would be helpful next time, for the scenario to be clearer. Thank you

Describe your environment

• Device model: Samsung SM-T720
• Android version: Android 11
• What build you are using: own client=b3e5af8f33a972c19d3c3571a3fd24d461623194 ; daemon=7670be4ca58a19d9d3f381097ef1c6ee9716e20c

Steps to reproduce

Three devices:

• Android(1): account Bob with contacts Alice and Carole
• Windows 10: account Alice with contacts Bob and Carole
• Android(2): account Carole with contacts Bob and Alice

1. Make a video call Bob -> Alice
2. Android: You can view the video of Alice
3. Android: Add Carole (with video)
4. Android: All videos are gone; you just view your own video preview

I guess if one or more peer(s) stop their video camera and/or share the screen nothing will change regarding this issue?

Does it matter if you make a call sameaccount 1 (device 1) <-> sameaccount 1 (device 2) or account 1 (device 1) <-> sameaccount 2 (device 2)?

And if you add or remove other peers with/without any video (camera and/or shared screen)?

Just for your information. Spamming with several scenarios is not really useful as it make everybody lose time.

A precise scenario is better, as it will be easy for a dev to reproduce and debug. Generally to inspect one scenario, you can count 30min to 1hour. Because a dev will need to setup the environment on specific commits (on generally 2 devices) with debug logs, try to decrypt how to reproduce the scenario (instructions are not clear sometimes), investigate logs and try to think of a fix.

So, when you have 3/4 scenarios for one ticket, it would ask at least 1/2 day of work.
