-
What build you are using: Debian testing apt package
Steps to reproduce
Note: Better the scenario is, better we will be able to reproduce and debug.
-
Can you reproduce the bug: occasionally
-
Steps:
- Listing the ~/.cache directory, one can see 2 Jami directories: one with a lower case and the other with an uppercase.
-
Actual result:
$ ls -al ~/.cache
drwxr-xr-x 3 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 4 15:45 Jami
drwxr-xr-x 4 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 4 15:50 jami
-rw-r--r-- 1 pierre pierre 0 May 5 18:19 JamitmpSwarmImage
$ ls -al ~/.cache/Jami
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 3 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 4 15:45 .
drwx------ 24 pierre pierre 4096 Apr 26 20:00 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 5 13:57 _qt_QGfxShaderBuilder_6.4.2
pierre@petronile:~$ ls -al ~/.cache/jami
total 16
drwxr-xr-x 4 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 4 15:50 .
drwx------ 24 pierre pierre 4096 Apr 26 20:00 ..
drwxr-xr-x 5 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 5 13:59 4e17354ccc257eeb
drwxr-xr-x 2 pierre pierre 4096 Mar 4 15:50 namecache
- Expected result: Though these directories are in a cache directory, I suspect that the Jami one has been created by Qt from application name or there's a typo in the code somewhere. This does not occur on Ubuntu 22.04.
