Paste image from clipboard doesn't work

Jami GUI does nothing on either Ctrl V or Shift Insert or ( mouse right-click menu -> Paste ).

Image data on clipboard can come from:

Firefox browser - the confirmed abovementioned behavior;
GIMP select all then copy visible - also confirmed the abovementioned behavior.
