I think the screen shot speaks for itself..

Remark:

• I think "Sprache der Benutzeroberfläche" could just be "Sprache" without much confusion-

• Generally speaking many descriptions could be shorted to being less descriptive, e.g. "Show notifications" --> "Notifications"

• The entry fields, drop down menus and the slider are far too wide.

Well ... I think there are some suggestions that aren't a duplicate?

For example to change some strings of Jami?

Not sure, what the wording guidelines are..

E.g. https://developer-old.gnome.org/hig/stable/writing-style.html.en which is rather generic.

Anyway, less is more. Perhaps that would be worth it's own issue/discussion.
