Editing a message with link: 1. Markup; 2. Link after edition hard to read

1. Write Here is a link: https://jami.net/ in the message composition field
   
2. Click Send and the link is white and easy to see in the chatview
   3.Right-click on vertical ellipsis ⋮ and select Edit message. Bug 1: The message composition field is different to the original message (see point 1 above) as it shows Here is a link: <a href="https://jami.net/" class="linkified" target="_blank" style="color: #f0f0f0;">https://jami.net/</a>; should the message composition field only show, without the markup, Here is a link: https://jami.net/?
   
3. Change the text to Here is a link: https://jami.net/
4. Click Send
5. The link https://jami.net/ in the edited message color changed to blue (Bug 2) and is hard to see on the blue background

Workaround: select another conversation and then re-select the original conversation and link now shows in white (easy to see again).

Is this possible to be fixed without this workaround?
