[Question] Use Jami with one hotspot without any internet
I've read that you can use Jami without internet access (Url: https://docs.jami.net/user/faq.html?highlight=offline#can-i-use-jami-in-a-local-network-lan-without-internet-access)
I enabled "Enable local peer discovery" both Android devices but disabled LTE.
The tablet will use the hotspot of the smartphone (but both devices don't have internet access /LTE enabled).
My questions are:
Does Jami (on all OS- but in my case Android - Android) also work if you want to make calls and/or send messages if you use the hotspot (no internet access) of the other device?
I made calls sameusername -) sameusername and it didn't work?
When it comes to the contacts in the contact list:
When will the green dot be visible or will you ever see a green dot if don't have internet access? Although the other device now uses the hotspot of the first device ... Are they connected (and should there be a green dot)?
I was using sameusername -) sameusername
I guess I might have not seen the green dot because of the UI issue (jami-client-android#994 (closed))?
When it comes to the green dot: Does it matter if you use a Jami username or just an identifier?
