Ubuntu regularly pulls its packages from Debian unstable, and more recently from snapcraft.io as well. As I will be (continuing) working on the Debian package into the future and we're also maintaining the snap package, I don't think it's necessary for us to work on deb packaging specifically for Ubuntu's repos at the moment.
