Jami Store – change URL from plugins to extensions or remove (in the case of the Store) and update descriptions
View options
- Truncate descriptions
Singular, not plural:
- At https://www.apple.com/app-store/, it is call "App Store", not "Apps Store".
- At https://store.google.com/, it is called "Google Store".
Should "Plugins" be removed from "Jami Plugins Store" to become "Jami Store"? i.e. should "jami-plugins-store" be changed to "jami-store". This will help future-proof the name as it can then include "plugins", "add-ons", "extensions", "themes", "dictionaries", "languages", etc.
It is suggested that the word "plugins" remain in the description for legacy reasons; however, it could be removed as Jami terminology has changed from "plugin" to "extension".
Suggestions:
- Change https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-plugins/ to https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-extensions/
- Change "All extensions and plugins in the plugin store." to "Extensions and plugins in the Jami Store."
- Change https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-plugins-store to https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/jami-store
- Change "The plugin store enables quick discovery and installation of plugins and extensions in Jami." to "The Jami Store enables quick discovery and installation of extensions and plugins."
