Feature request: restrict access in rendezvous mode based on password
As stated in https://jami.net/the-jami-conferencing-system/ Jami's security is relying on certificates. But what if you cannot exchange certificates before starting a conference?
Example scenario:
You start a rendezvous point and ask other participants to join. You did not have contact to this participants through Jami before, so you cannot use certificates. So restricting to known contacts is not an option. If someone sends you a request to be added to your Jami contacts list, you do not know if this is one of the person you have asked to join or some other person who somehow get the ID of the rendezvous point (for example, by capturing the traffic to a dht proxy that does not use https). So not restricting to known contacts and leaving it open for everyone is not an option. You do not want to chat with every person before chatting via Jami so asking everyone for the ID or username in Jami is not an option, too.
I would suggest to add a password mode for rendezvous points so you can simply send a password to every person who is allowed to join.
