Missing keyboard layout causes crash at start
A fresh install on Linux Mint 20 failed to start, with the app appearing in the taskbar but not as a window. I found this in syslog:
org.mate.panel.applet.MintMenuAppletFactory[18447]: xkbcommon: ERROR: Couldn't process include statement for 'gb(phone
tic)'
Disabling Bulgarian Phonetic keyboard layout, which was the only one installed other than the default En-gb fixed the issue, but means I can not use cyrillic in messages.
