LMDE: Text-Messages are not displayed correctly

In Linux Mint Debian Text-Messages are not displayed correctly. Please see picture.

Not sure if LMDE already supports "reply to"; See: jami-daemon#318 (comment 37269)

(You need to right click and select "Reply")

Do you get the same / or a different issue if you reply to a message?

EDIT: If you increase or decrease the font size does this issue get worse or better? jami-client-qt#817 (comment 37107)

it's not client-qt but client-gnome which is un-maintained since months.

So this is wontfix.
