Issue if you remove your own account from the contact list (Windows 10 -> Android)
Open Jami on Windows 10 and Android
ownuseraccount <-> ownuseraccount
You're own user account is in the contact list (both devices)
- JUST Windows 10: Select "Remove conversation" (Jami will crash; however Jami on Android keeps running)
- Android: Your own user account will be now removed automatically
- Windows 10: Your own user account is also not available in the contact list anymore
- Windows 10: Now search your own user account and add yourself
- JUST Windows 10 will now show your account in the contact list- However Android will show nothing
- Windows 10: Now make a call Windows 10 -> Android
- Android: You can answer the call (although you disabled "Allow calls from unknown contacts")
- Android: Once you've finished the call (Android: Tap "End call") your own contact will suddenly appear in "invitations" but you can't add yourself: If tap your own contact (tab "invitations"= it will just show "Downloading conversation from peer"
After that:
- Sending text messages Windows 10 -> Android won't work
- However: Making calls Windows 10 -> Android will work
Next issue:
Android: If you remove your own contact it will be gone (just Android)
However you can still make calls Windows 10 -> Android (although "Allow incoming calls from unknown contacts" is disabled (both clients))
After you made a call (Windows 10 -> Android) Jami on Android will never show any invitation and your own contact will also not show up in the contact list
If you exit - both? clients - Android will show your own user account in the contact list again -Although you previously removed it from "invitations" (and it was never shown in the contact list)?
