That's also the most missing feature for me. I use Jami mostly as a SIP client. As such I often dial in to some phone conferences where I have to enter a pin to enter the call which is impossible without a dialpad (unless I missed something). So I always have to switch to something else for conference calls.
@sblin how can the following be sent as a PIN too: * star/asterisk # hash A (697Hz and 1633Hz) B (770Hz and 1633Hz) C (852Hz and 1633Hz) D (941Hz and 1633Hz)
Can a Dialpad please be added which includes all the keys (0-9, A-D, * and #)?
Thank you

@ovari do you know numbers with menus accepting that DTMF to try?
02 9192 0995 (+61 2 9192 0995 from outside Australia). Due to abuse since this service has been launched, the service is not available to anonymous callers or those calling outside certain countries including Australia, NZ, and North America. https://shaun.net/notes/australian-test-phone-numbers/
Interactive voice response (IVR) is a technology that allows a computer to interact with humans through the use of voice and DTMF tones input via a keypad. The keypad in Jami should show the letters which are assigned to each digit (see image of keypad below)

@mzhang Actually are SIP calls supporting "*#ABCD"?
We have previously called our number which also had a physical answering machine attached. We used also used the "*#ABCD" once the answering machine picked up the phone to check for and navigate (fast-forward, rewind, skip) messages.
In all the case, there is a system keyboard (actually android has a dialpad button, but that issue was from gnome). I mean, the visual keyboard exists on gnome.

I don't wish to be a "me too" comment, but I wanted to join the conversation because the number row keys do not actually seem to function in my calls.
I am located in Canada, and when hitting the number keys, I hear the tone but the machine at the other end does not hear the tone. In some cases, the machine does hear the tone but I need to press the number 2-3 times in rapid succession, so entering a PIN for example, would not work properly.
A test number would be +19053321851 (Burlington Hydro in Canada), it has a phone menu so it is safe to call.
Some additional details which may be related (but probably are not)
I had a similar issue before with Zoiper (on my android device) if the speakerphone was on. The microphone was picking up the tone and causing issues.
