[META] chatview performances

The chatview is a central part of the GNU/Linux GNOME client, but it is affected by serious performances issues. While not necessarily hard to fix, these issues are a non-negligible drawback to the scalability of Ring.

  • #811 (closed) conversations should be lazy loaded
  • #810 (closed) images should not be displayed at full resolution/size
  • #833 (closed) major efficiency issues in updateTimestamps
  • #834 (closed) messages should not be displayed one by one
  • #836 (closed) remove conversation loading animation
