I happened to talk to a friend about the feature yesterday because she uses it regularly on Whatsapp. Unfortunately not with Jami yet. Her idea was that both audio and voice messages should be able to be previewed first before the message is really sent out. What do you think? Does this extension of the suggested feature make sense and could you implement it if you're working on this feature anyway?

Thanks for implementing! I'm looking forward to try things out and especially when all clients have integrated this feature, it's another step to make Jami more familiar for new users. However, it would be important that the files also have a certain degree of protection. Just as we discussed it in https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/ring-client-android/issues/652. None of these recordings should simply lie unprotected on a device to protect sensitive information.
